"I strive to make God my center and family is second to that. My family is very close, and we do what we can to take care of one another. I was taught from a very young age to value and respect my elders and the seniors of the community. I’m honored to be part of an organization that takes pride in and focuses on serving the aging community.

"As a primary caregiver to my parents, I embraced the opportunity to be their advocate with health care providers and a variety of agencies that allowed them to age safely in their own home.  I am proud to be a part of the Areawide board to share my experiences and to learn more about opportunities for the aging community."
